Each player will get one team from qualifying pots 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Once your teams have been selected you can then select a star player from each.

Scoring Rules

Your team wins = 3pts

Your team draws = 1pt

Your team loses = 0pts

Your team gets a red card = -1pt

Your star player scores = 2pts

Your star player assists = 1pt

Your star player gets a red = -3pts

Results obtained via extra time and penalty shootout are calculated with the standard rules above. Penalties scored in shootouts do not count towards star player points totals

You may change your star player if you wish, but any request must be made in writing on the blog of this website and will take effect 3hrs after being officially received. The competition host will also abide by these rules. Should your star player be, for example, injured in the warm-up of a match, there is no short-term replacement mechanism. You have been badly treated by cruel fate, as is always possible in this most beautiful of sports.
